Consumer Credit Rights
You have rights. You should know them before choosing any service.
This page is a general educational overview. It is not legal advice, and it does not replace the consumer disclosures delivered to you separately during secure onboarding.
You can dispute inaccurate information yourself
Consumers may dispute inaccurate information directly with consumer reporting agencies without paying a credit repair organization. Doing so is free.
You may obtain your credit reports
Federal law provides consumers the ability to obtain credit report disclosures from the nationwide consumer reporting agencies. Reviewing your reports is a reasonable first step before any action is taken.
Investigations and results
When a dispute is submitted, the consumer reporting agency generally conducts an investigation and reports the result. A result may confirm the information, modify it, or remove it. No one can lawfully guarantee a particular outcome.
Rights regarding credit repair organizations
- You have the right to cancel your contract with a credit repair organization for any reason within the period described in your agreement.
- A credit repair organization may not charge you before services are fully performed.
- A credit repair organization may not advise you to make untrue or misleading statements.
- A credit repair organization may not guarantee removal of accurate, verifiable information.
How Fred Livai Financial operates
We do not fabricate inaccuracies, invent violations, instruct clients to make untrue statements, submit false identity-theft claims, dispute information solely because it is negative, or promise deletions, score increases, or financing approval. See Cancellation Information for how ending services works.
